Road Bans Effective Monday March 27th at 7:00 AM
Defining Maximum Allowance Weights Permitted on Certain Municipal Roads and Highways. PURSUANT to the authority granted under the provisions of the Road Protection and Traffic Control Bylaw, Red Deer County orders that the percentage axle weight allowances for public vehicles operating on roads and highways being under the jurisdiction of Red Deer County, in the Province of Alberta, but excluding highways within all Industrial Subdivisions are as follows:
In this Order: "RR" means Range Road, "TR" means Township Road, "Hwy" means Highway and "AWA" means Axle Weight Allowance
Chip Seal (CS), ACP or Paved (P) Roads and Highways the percentage axle weight allowance is hereby as follows:


Utility maintenance vehicles, garbage and refuse disposal trucks, and water well drilling rigs may operate at one hundred percent (100%) axle weight allowance.
All carriers must obtain a Transit Permit from Roadata Services Ltd., 1-888-830-7623 or 341-7466, prior to transporting any loads in excess of the weight restrictions indicated in this Order.
THIS ORDER rescinds Order No. 03/22 and shall remain in effect until further notice.
