Economic Development

Red Deer County is very excited to announce the launch of a new Economic Development website: www.growrdcounty.ca

The new website is designed to attract entrepreneurs and new business investment to the area, as well as provide insight and growth opportunity to existing businesses.

Businesses will be able to explore business parks, find information on thriving industries, and get a real understanding of the business climate in Red Deer County. The website provides access to helpful tools like partner resources, interactive data, business directory listings, and real estate opportunities.

A showcase of the new Junction 42 business area displays new opportunities for commercial, industrial, and agri-business development. Featured are great resources for small and home-based businesses, and key information on the lifestyle and amenities that make Red Deer County a great place to live and do business.

Economic Development Officer Sandra Badry adds, “Whether you are starting a new business, relocating, or considering an expansion, Red Deer County’s Economic Development team wants to play a role in nurturing the process. We aim to support businesses at every stage of development.”

Residents and business owners are encouraged to explore the new Economic Development website at www.growrdcounty.ca. The website is a major part of the overall economic development plan created by the County in 2016.
