Red Deer County Council and Municipal Planning Commission (MPC) meetings are held on the same day.

MPC commences at 9:30 a.m. followed by Council.

Unless otherwise indicated, meetings are held in the Red Deer County Centre located at 38106 Range Road 275, Red Deer County (west of QEII on C&E Trail/ 32 Street)

Public Hearings / Advertised Bylaws

Unless otherwise notified, public hearings are held in Council Chambers on scheduled Council meeting dates commencing at 1:30 pm.

BYLAW NO. 2012/9 to amend Section 28, Notice and Validity of Decision, of the Land Use Bylaw No. 2006/6 to provide an 18-month waiting period for resubmission of an appliction for a development permit or a change of a land use desigination for a similar use on the same property for which a previous application has been refused and to provide a 6-month waiting period for resubmission of a subdivision application on the same property for which a previous application has been refused.

Bylaw No. 2012/9

BYLAW NO. 2012/10 to amend the Land Use Bylaw No. 2006/6 as follows: (1) Section 8, Use Definitions - delete the definition for Campground and add definitions for Campground Minor, Campground Major and Campsite; (2) Part 7, General Regulations, Section 61, Recreational Vehicle Park/Campground - delete the current sections and add new regulations, No's 61.1 to 61.4; (3) Section 101, Agricultural District, add Campground Minor as a Discretionary Use; and (4) Section 114, Commercial Recreation District, add Campground Minor as a Permitted Use and Campground Major as a Discretionary Use.

BYLAW NO. 2012/11 to amend the Land Use Bylaw No. 2006/6 to include definitions and general regulations for the development of Wind Energy Conversion Systems.

BYLAW NO. 2010/2.02 to redesignate Pt SW 27-37-27-4 (2.35 hectares / 5.81 acres) from Agricultural District "Ag" to Business Service Industrial District "BSI".

The subject land is located south of the City of Red Deer, east on Hwy 2 along Rge Rd 273 and Twp Rd 374 in the McKenzie Industrial Business Park.
