Property Assessment Notices for 2016 were mailed to Red Deer County property owners on February 10, 2017.If you have not received your notice, please contact the Assessment office at 403.350.2166. Red Deer County has previously mailed a combined Tax and Assessment Notice every May. Starting in 2017 and going forward, Red Deer County will be mailing out an assessment notice in February and a separate tax notice in May.Is your mailing address correct? Section 304(3) of the Municipal Government Act states that the assessed person is responsible for notifying the municipality of the correct address to which assessment notices are mailed. To update your mailing address please complete the address change form at www.rdcounty.ca, call the Assessment Department at 403.350.2166 or email email@example.com.If you have a concern or believe there is an error regarding your property assessment, please report this to Red Deer County’s Assessment office immediately. If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may submit a formal, written complaint (mandatory complaint form available at County office or on the website at www.rdcounty.ca) detailing the nature of your concern, along with the appropriate filing fee (noted on the back of your Property Assessment Notice), to the Clerk of the Assessment Review Board at Red Deer County by the April 11, 2017, complaint deadline.**Interested in joining our monthly Tax Installment Plan?
