Memo to cemetery board members

The following Grant Application packages and Contact Information sheets are available Here.

1.    Rural Cemetery Operational Assistance Grant (May apply before October 1st deadline)

2.    Rural Cemetery Capital Project Assistance Grant (May 1st  deadline)

Red Deer County has grant funding available to support Cemetery Boards who are operating a rural cemetery. Each grant package is a fillable document meaning you can type your information directly on the Portable Document Format (PDF). Prior to filling out, please save to your computer.

Important Changes to Operational Grant Applications!

To lessen some of your paperwork and time, Operational Grant Forms are now in three-year funding cycles (2019 to 2021). You will be able to project your spending for years 2020 and 2021; that funding will be forwarded to you without an application. Funding will be based on your previous year’s Accounting Form, receipts, and/or financial statements. Accounting Forms and Contact Information will be required annually. Also, any changes to your financial and/or contact information should be submitted as soon as possible.

Please submit your application(s) to as soon as possible. As well, a fillable PDF Contact Information sheet is on the website, to be completed and returned.

Processing of applications may take up to 45 days.
