PUBLIC HEARING - Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 1:30 PM at Red Deer County Centre for:Bylaw No. 2018/2.02 to redesignate Pt SE 5-37-27-4 (10.9 ha / 26.8 acres) from Agricultural District “Ag” to Highway Commercial District “C-3.”The property is located on the northwest corner of the Hwy 2 and 42 interchange within the Junction 42 Local Area Structure Plan area.The purpose of the bylaw is accommodate future commercial uses and the proposed subdivision of these lands into four lots.The permitted and discretionary uses and other matters presently applicable to “Ag” and “C-3” districts are contained in the Red Deer County Land Use Bylaw (LUB) No. 2006/6.PUBLIC HEARING - Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 5:00 PM at the Elnora Community Centre, 425 – 2nd Avenue, Elnora, for:Bylaw No. 2018/34 to adopt the Village of Elnora and Red Deer County Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) 2018.The purpose of the IDP is to provide a framework for the Village and County to work together to address issues and opportunities of mutual concern as they relate to future land use planning in and around the Village of Elnora.The hearings will be informal and persons wishing to speak will be requested to state their name and address for the record upon being recognized by the Chair. If you prefer to submit comments on the bylaws in writing, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.Copies of the proposed bylaws, the Land Use Bylaw and the IDP are available on the County’s website www.rdcounty.ca or by visiting the County office during regular office hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
