For three days in November, farmers have a chance to see the newest of the agricultural industry as the annual Agri-Trade Equipment Exposition returns to Red Deer.
From Nov. 7 to 9 at the Westerner in Red Deer, 4847A 19th St., the annual showcase of the newest in agriculture will take place.
More than 470 exhibitors will be open for business over the three days.
The trade show also showcases some of the innovation occurring in the agricultural sector. The winners of the 2018 Ag Innovation award include:
Northern Strands’ grain bin fall protection system, which is designed to protect farm workers from a fall while climbing or accessing a bin for repairs or inspections.
IntraGrain Technologies Fuel Lock, a fuel management system that allows owners to lock their fuel, view employee usage and monitor tank levels from the palm of their hand.
GranViz, a grain bin monitoring system that provides real time insights, detection and traceability into every bushel.
The event runs from Nov. 7 to 9 from 9 AM to 5 PM every day. Tickets cost $15 and children aged 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
