NOTICE is hereby given that at its meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, the Council of Red Deer County will consider the following bylaws:Bylaw No. 2018/21 to adopt the Springbrook South Local Area Structure Plan, which provides a general land use planning framework for the subdivision and development of land located within W of RW NE 12-37-28-4. There are several land uses being proposed including, but not limited to, institutional, commercial, and industrial. These lands are located directly south of the Hamlet of Springbrook (south of Airport Drive and west of Hwy 2A)Bylaw No. 2018/23 to adopt an Advertisement Bylaw that lists the requirements to be followed for providing notice to the public of a bylaw, resolution, meeting, public hearing or something else that is required to be advertised; andBylaw No. 2018/24 to amend the Land Use Bylaw No. 2006/6 in relation to notice requirements for referral notices for discretionary use and bylaw variance applications, notice of development permit decisions and notice of bylaw amendment applications.Council will hear from any person claiming to be affected by the proposed bylaws at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at 1:30 PM, in Council Chambers, County Office, 38106 Rge Rd 275, Red Deer County, Alberta (west of Hwy 2 on 32 Street/C&E Trail Overpass).The hearing will be informal and persons wishing to speak will be requested to state their name and address for the record upon being recognized by the Chair.If you prefer to submit comments on the bylaws in writing, the information you provide may be made public, subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.The public may inspect:- A copy of the proposed bylaws and the ASP by visiting our website at www.rdcounty.ca or at the County office located at 38106 Rge Rd 275, Red Deer County, Alberta, during regular office hours 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
