The Trenville Hall was built in 1905 and was a one-room school until 1945. A post office and store was also on the site. Much has changed since then and the renovation project of today. The hall was built from trees cut upstream of the Red Deer River. Logs were floated downstream and horses pulled the logs up the hill for two miles to the building site.At least 60 members and guests, over four generations, celebrated the hall renovation on June 9. Red Deer County was acknowledge and thanked for their generous grant to fully renovate the building so it can be enjoyed by the community and guests from far afield for generations to come. There are still a few weekends open for reservation in August!
