Hi there! My name is Jessie Bailey and this summer I will be working for Red Deer County as a Weed Inspector in the Central Division. I have lived near Pine Lake on my fiancés family farm for almost five years now and prior to that I grew up just outside of Sylvan Lake, so I definitely consider Red Deer County home. My background consists of many different positions including child care, serving, landscaping and farming. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education degree through the University of Alberta and I am excited to be officially graduating in June. I have a passion for agriculture and have learned many valuable skills over the past years. I am looking forward to connecting with the residents of the County and helping them with all their weed management needs.Hello, my name is Erin Cressey. I will be working as a Weed Inspector in the East division of Red Deer County this summer. I’ve called Red Deer County home my whole life, minus time spent going to University in Edmonton. Recently, I attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on environmental sciences. I have experience in spraying electrical substations and patrolling powerlines across the province. In my spare time I enjoy camping, fishing and photography, as well as spending time with my dogs, cats and chickens. I am looking forward to engaging with County residents and assisting in the control of noxious and prohibited noxious weeds.Hi, my name is Caleb Scott and I will be the Weed Inspector for the Western Division of the County this year. I am from southwest Alberta where I previously worked for the Ag Services department at the M.D. of Pincher Creek as an Inspector and Sprayer for four years. I have also worked in the private sector spraying Oilfield and Utilities facilities. During the winters I help out on a ranch west of Pincher Creek. Coming from an area on the Montana and B.C. borders, I have seen the damage weeds can do when left unchecked. I am excited to work with the residents and ratepayers of Red Deer County to help stop the spread of noxious weeds.
