PUBLIC HEARING - TUESDAY, April 10, 2018, at 1:30 PM for:Bylaw No. 2018/5 to amend Figure 7, Potential Future Land Use map of the C&E Trail Area Structure Plan (ASP), Bylaw No. 3/94, by changing a portion of NE 22-37-28-4 from SubArea B, River Valley, to SubArea C, Proposed Country Residential Development.PUBLIC HEARING - TUESDAY, May 8, 2018, at 1:30 PM for: Bylaw No. 2018/7 to adopt an Animal Control bylaw that provides regulations for the keeping of livestock, including hens, on residential properties. The bylaw is also proposing to consolidate the existing Dog Control Bylaw and Prohibited Animals Bylaw into one bylaw that addresses the keeping of animals within Red Deer County.An amendment to the General Penalty Bylaw is also proposed to include penalties to be applied for keeping or harboring of livestock, hens or fowls in contravention of the Animal Control Bylaw and any nuisance that may be created by these animals.Bylaw No. 2018/9 to amend the Poplar Pointe Estates Area Structure Plan, Bylaw No. 2015/35, for NE 29-38-28-4, to provide for a boundary adjustment to include approximately 0.41 acres of Lot 11 in Harvey Heights where the water wells to service the Plan area are located; to allow for an increase in the number of country residential lots to a maximum of 45 dependent on the method of sanitary sewer servicing utilized; and minor changes to internal road alignments, and location of potential additional country residential development area and green space. Bylaw No. 2018/10 to amend the Harvey Heights Area Structure Plan, Bylaw No. 2005/13, to reflect the boundary adjustment being proposed in Bylaw No. 2018/9. Bylaw No. 2018/11 to amend the Land Use Bylaw No. 2006/6 by including definitions and regulations for Cannabis Retail Sales.The hearings will be informal and persons wishing to speak will be requested to state their name and address for the record upon being recognized by the Chair.
