Delburne Cooking with Seniors (55+) Open House – Tuesday, January 18 at Delburne Drop-In Centre. Join us for coffee and treats and learn about how our program works.
Delburne Interagency Meeting – Wednesday, January 31 at Delburne Drop-In Centre. Lunch will be provided. All community agencies and groups are invited to attend. Please RSVP before January 29.
Delburne Community Directory – All area organizations are asked to send any contact updates since February 2017 community listing.
Delburne Lifeline is administered by Delburne FCSS. For a minimal monthly fee, residents can access help 24 hours a day. Simply push the Lifeline Help Button to connect to a Response Centre.
Little Free Libraries has been an astounding success in Delburne and our two Little Libraries are full. Community residents are being challenged to build their own Little Libraries to place on their property.

Elnora Play School – Wednesdays and alternating Mondays and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Elnora School in Kindergarten Room. Sarah Hogg is new teacher. Elnora Youth Center – Is your child, youth or teen looking for some great after-school activities? The Elnora Youth Center has received an additional 3 years of funding until 2020 so our youth have a wonderful opportunity close to home. For more information, please call Janina at 403.773.3920.
Elnora Boys and Girls Club – Kids Club for ages 6 to 9 meet on Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Drop-In. For more information call Heather at 403.342.6500, ext. 142
Winter Festival and Meet Your Neighbour Afternoon – Saturday, January 13 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM is visiting with your neighbor. Welcome packages will be available for people new to Elnora. Sleigh rides from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM leaving from behind Elnora Hotel. After sleigh rides the Elnora Hotel Restaurant (children-friendly hours until 8:00 PM) is serving free hot dogs and hot chocolate until 4:00 PM. For more information please call 403.773.3920.

Playgroup – Wednesdays at Penhold Memorial Hall (1123 Fleming Ave) from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM. $2 drop-in, $1 every additional child, babies are free. Program for ages 0-5, a safe, fun environment for your child to learn socialization through play. Schedule: January 17, 24, 31, Feb. 7, 14, 28.
Free Little Libraries -- Two locations in Penhold – Memorial Hall and the Senior Drop-In Center. Take It, Read It, Share It!
Daddy & Me Play Day – Saturday, January 20 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Penhold and District Library. The theme is “come build with us”.
Family Literacy Day – Wednesday, January 24 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Penhold Library.

Springbrook Community SkatePark Committee (SC2) – Corporate Sponsorship Packages now available. The SC2 now has permanent bottle donation bin on the skatepark behind the Springbrook Multiplex. All money raised goes to skatepark construction. Next meetings are on January 17 and February 7, at 7:00 PM, Springbrook Fire Hall.
Springbrook Community Garden – Now accepting registrations for the 2018 growing season. Raised garden beds for those with mobility issues are now available. Contact Adrian for more information or to register.
Child / Youth Programs – Boys and Girls Club Programs have started for ages 6 to 14. Check out their website for more info. or to register. Parent Link Programs for 0 to 6-year-olds run Mondays and Thursdays. Contact for more info.
