Red Deer County Council participates in a 10 year FCSS Multi-Municipal Agreement. For decades, Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) has been working as a provincial municipal government initiative to enhance the social wellbeing of individuals, families and community in an effort to keep people resilient, well, and from falling into crisis.

2017 Community Resource Guide / Community Directory is now available.
Cooking with Seniors in Delburne is not limited to pensioners or low income residents. This group is intended for adults aged 55+ that want to get together to not only cook but more importantly, to socialize and have fun while making some meals to take home. Delburne Lifeline is administered by Delburne FCSS. For a minimal monthly fee, residents can access help 24 hours a day. Simply push the Lifeline Help Button to connect to a Response Centre. For more information, contact Carol, FCSS at 403.749.3654.
Little Free Libraries has been an astounding success in Delburne and our two Little Libraries are full. Community residents are being challenged to build their own Little Libraries to place on their property. For information or ideas, call Carol, FCSS, 403.749.3654.

Elnora Boys and Girls Club – Kids Club for ages 6 to 9 meet on Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 5:30PM at the Drop-In. For more information call Heather at 403.342.6500, Ext. 142
Elnora Play School – Wednesdays and alternating Mondays and Fridays from 8:30AM to 11:30AM at Elnora School in Kindergarten Room. Sarah Hogg is new teacher. Elnora Youth Center – Is your child, youth or teen looking for some great after-school activities? The Elnora Youth Center has received an additional 3 years of funding until 2020 so our youth have a wonderful opportunity close to home. For more information, please call Janina at 403.773.3920.
Parent Link – Thursday, December 14 from 10:00AM to 12:00 NOON at Elnora Community Hall. FREE for all parents/caregivers and their preschooler.

Free Little Libraries – Two locations in Penhold – Memorial Hall and the Senior Drop-In Center. Take It, Read It, Share It!
Playgroup – Wednesdays at Penhold Memorial Hall (1123 Fleming Ave) from 9:00AM to 11:15AM. $2 drop-in, $1 every additional child, babies are free. Program for ages 0-5, a safe, fun environment for your child to learn socialization through play. Schedule: Dec. 6, 13, 20 and January 17, 24.
Free Public Skating at the Multiplex – Sundays from 4:00PM to 5:15PM. A reminder that everyone under the age of 16 MUST wear a helmet. Please contact the Booking Clerk at 403.886.3260 or for ice rentals and other inquiries.

Springbrook Archery Club – Thursdays from 6:30PM to 8:30PM, Fridays from 7:00PM to 9:00PM and Saturdays from 10:00AM to 1:00PM. Club is available for private bookings and parties. Springbrook Community SkatePark Committee – Fundraising in full swing for the new park. Next meeting is December 6th at 7:00PM, Springbrook Fire Hall.
Boys and Girls Club Programs have started for ages 6 to 14. Check out their website for more info or to register.
