Fire Services

Red Deer County Fire Services
On January 15, 2013, Red Deer County Council voted unanimously to assume direct control of the Bowden Fire District, entering into an agreement to provide fire protection within the Town of Bowden.

Fire services are provided in the other areas of the County by agreements with Delburne, Elnora, Innisfail and Sylvan Lake. All fire services are funded annually through a Protective Services Levy.

Check out our video page for a great overview of Fire Services in Red Deer County.

If you are ever the victim of a fire, the County has created After the Fire - the First 24 Hours to provide useful information.
